To each, we add powerful words, from the likes of Georgia O'Keefe, Mark Twain, John Muir, - thoughts of courage, joy, inspiration, peace. Each becomes a way to send a seed of hope, or of adventure. Bravery or strength. Renewal, creativity, or joy. Some lend themselves to watermarks like graduations. Others are for friendships. One favorite suggests that it takes two to cross the river. What a great message for an anniversary, a wedding, or a new relationship. Is there something a bit rebellious about Moonshine Cards? Maybe. We blame it on the alchemical, home-brewed spirit of our namesake, and often working away by the light of the moon. The Moonshine studio is nestled in the mountains of beautiful West Virginia - world-renowned to boaters, climbers, and beauty-seekers of every ilk. Founded in 2003, Moonshine Cards is committed to sustainable, environmentally friendly methods, like the use of recycled papers and vegetable-based inks. The cards are sold in hundreds of card shops, bookstores, and outdoor stores from Alaska to Maine, New York to Florida, California and even the British Virgin Islands.
